Introduction of new young animal feed specialist on 14 March in Venray.
Startix will be presenting itself publicly for the first time at the opening of the Landbouwdagen Intensieve Veehouderij (LIV). This new young animal feed specialist focuses primarily on pig farming, particularly on sow farms experiencing problems with large litters. The high quality, calving pen-oriented Startix food concept contributes to a higher weaning weight and less drop-out.
Structurally larger litters are putting pressure on both animal welfare and results at more and more businesses. For example, transitioning to foster sows takes a lot of time, with no guarantees of success. If the young animal does not make up for its growth delay during the first few days of its life, the risk of drop-out is high. Startix provides sow farms with a sophisticated nutrition concept to focus on the calving pen in a targeted manner. At the LIV Venray, Startix will launch its line of various special feeds, which are adapted to the changing nutritional needs in the first weeks of life.
